The ground
begins to shiver
There is
chaos all around
People
running to their houses
Because of
the rumbling sound.
“Help! Help!”
People start
to shout
Policeman
say, “Don’t worry”
But people
are still in doubt.
Parents pick
up children
Who have
fallen to the ground
There is a
huge crack in the road
Making trees
fall, which weigh pounds.
People trying
to escape
From falling
down the crack
Hurrying out
of the city gates
No time to
pack.
Children
screaming parents’ names
Crying
through their calls
People
falling to their deaths
Right in front
of the city hall
